Paul Rexford, a 14-year veteran of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department was promoted to Assistant Sheriff by Sheriff Ezio Poldilotta and recently took command of the Special Operations Division and Countywide Operations Division, providing specialized services to the county, including the Special Weapons Team.
Assistant Sheriff Rexford's career with the Sheriff's Department began in 2004 after a transfer from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department at the rank of Lieutenant. Assistant Sheriff Rexford transferred into the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department as the Operations Lieutenant for the East Los Santos Station. Upon his promotion to Captain in 2007, Assistant Sheriff Rexford took command of the East Los Santos Patrol Station. After his promotion to Commander in 2008, Assistant Sheriff Rexford took over supervision of the Patrol Operations Division, subsequently taking over command of the Executive Office of Patrol Operations as the Assistant Sheriff in 2011. Assistant Sheriff Rexford stepped down to Commander in 2014 to take over supervision of the Special Operations Division, before being promoted to Division Chief that same year.
Assistant Sheriff Rexford holds a Bachelors in Legal Theory from the University of California in Los Angeles. Assistant Sheriff Rexford is also a graduate from the Sacramento Charter High School.
Assistant Sheriff Rexford resides in Dilimore with his wife, Commander Ellie Rexford, and their daughter.
