Re: Frequently Asked Questions

I've applied to Sheriff's Department for the position of Trainee previously, have my interview successfully conducted and was admitted to training courses as a Recruit, but due to the personal matters I could not attend them. Therefore, the question regarding simplifed process of recruitment process. Should I take part in the recruitment process as every other participant who applies for the first time or will I be able to skip the stages I previously passed? If not, will I be able to request my applications I submitted in the past? Thank you.

You’ll have to start the process again from the beginning.

Regarding the activity requirement, it says I must play 7 hours per week. What if it happens that I played e.g. 6 hours one week because I was very busy? Thanks in advance.

You could play 8 hours the next week/make up for it any other way and it'd be perfectly fine.

Is there a return time after the structured interview?

Usually 24 hours tops. Can take longer though.

Another question:
I see there are two academies for each number (e.g. 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B). Do we have to attend all 6 of them, or we can choose if we want to attend academy A or academy B? Thanks.

The number represents the course and the alphabet represents the instance of the course/class. So you'll have to attend either of 1A or 1B, and either of 2A or 2B. You can, for example, attend 1A and 2B. There is no need to attend 1B and 2A then.
